Sinful Colors Neptune

Here's another color from the Sinful Colors Cast Away collection. This is Neptune. It's a nice dark blue with mainly silver flecks. If you look closely though, you can also see rainbow flecks. It's hard to see in my pictures but they are there.

The top picture is without flash and the bottom picture with flash. The formula on this was fine, it went on evenly in two coats. Like all the Sinful Colors, you can't beat the price. $1.99 at Walgreens (I bought mine for .99 cents on sale.)

Sinful colors Athens

Athens is one of the new Sinful Colors collections for Spring from the Cast Away collection. I do kind of wonder why it's called the Cast Away collection when most of the colors seem to be Greek related.

The first picture is with flash and the second picture is without. Both pictures have base coat, two coats of color and I use Orly Sec N Dry topcoat.

I really liked the formula for this color. It went on opaque in two coats and was very forgiving. At one point I smudged my polish after it set and it smoothed itself back out. Not bad for .99 cents on sale at Walgreens.

I've decided to start a beauty blog so that I can catalog what I own and have some sort of distraction from everyday life.  Also I hope to help anyone who's ever been standing in the makeup aisle desperately searching for swatches on a smart phone trying to decide what to buy, since I've often found myself doing exactly that!
